When I first entered the audio booth to create my demo, I wasn’t nervous instead I was excited. I knew what I had to do and I was prepared to do it. And, my Voice Coaches team had a large hand in my success that day. They taught me what to expect in the vocal booth by explaining who the key players are and what may take place during the recording process. I learned how to condition my voice for recordings, how to properly handle the microphone, or should I say, NOT, handle the microphone. In short, they taught me the importance of being a professional.
